SCRIPTURES: John 6 : 30 – 41 Matthew 5 : 6 Luke 1 : 53 Isaiah 55 : 1 – 2 Luke 6 : 21 Luke 6 : 25 Revelations 3 : 17 – 19 John 4 : 14 John 19 : 28 Jeremiah 9 : 23 – 24 HUNGER – a craving or urgent need for food or a specific nutrient THIRST – to have a vehement desire or a longing for; passion Hunger and Thirst cannot be satisfied by physical means
KEY POINTS: * You must have a hunger and a thirst for the word of God * When you have a passion for something nothing can stand in your way * Many Christians lack passion for the things of God * When you have a hunger you will do anything to satisfy that passion * God will fill your hunger with good things * Everything God gives you is free * God wants to fill your life with abundance * Even at your strongest point you need God; but in God’s strongest moment you are in need of nothing * Do not allow yourself to be absent from God’s presence * The will of God is that you get to know him * We need to get back to Jesus and stop playing church * You need to get to the point where you can say the Lord understandeth and knoweth me * Speak positivity and life into your situations |
