KEY POINTS:

  1. GOD wants us to understand that our words can bring about life and death
  2. Words are powerful
  3. It is important to know not only when to speak, but when not to speak
  4. Before you say something, determine if it is true, necessary, and kind, if not, don’t speak it
  5. GOD is concerned that we know who we are in Christ Jesus
  6. A house divided cannot stand
  7. Satan uses his tongue to divide and pit us against one another to bring about our destruction
  8. An apology does not remove the scar
  9. A few words in anger can destroy a relationship that took years to build
  10. You cannot bless and curse out of the same mouth
  11. The Holy Spirit purifies our heart; the Holy Ghost should control our speech
  12. How we use our words reflect our relationship with GOD
  13. It is easier to destroy than to build up
  14. Who is in control of you?
  15. Your words can make a difference in someone’s life; choose constructive, not destructive words
  16. You must be led and guided by the Holy Spirit
  17. How we say something is just as important as what we say
  18. Your tone and attitude can cause the intent of your words to be lost
  19. Sometimes it is best to just keep quiet
  20. The words out of your mouth reveal what is in your heart
  21. You cannot solve your heart problems by cleaning up your speech
  22. Our actions must match our speech
  23. A good man thinks before he speaks
  24. Don’t talk without concern of the impact
  25. Improper language does not reflect the presence of GOD in your life
