KEY POINTS:

* God commanded man to work
* If you don’t work you don’t eat
* The beginning of stewardship is knowing that everything belongs to God
* The joy of the Lord is being in the presence of God
* Fear causes us to not be obedient to what God has commanded
* When you don’t use the talents God has given you He will not hesitate to take it away
* Satan stole life from us
* God shall supply all your needs, your wants, and things, according to your faith and obedience
* Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven
* The worst thing you can do is rob God
* Stop doing what you think is right and do what God has called you to do
* Good stewardship shall help to take you out of debt
Steward – one who manages and takes care of that which belongs to someone else
 1. Stewardship begins and ends with the understanding of God’s ownership of ALL
 2. Christian stewardship is the responsibility that we have in maintaining and using wisely
     the gifts that God has given to us
 3. Stewards are required be faithful

Prosper – to achieve economic success; to flourish
Poverty – lack of money or material possessions; always in want; always in scarcity.
 1. Poverty is not of God.  Before Satan became prince of this world poverty did not exist.
1. Serving the Lord – giving up foolish things like: drinking, smoking, gambling, drugs, will increase your income
2. Tithing – believing that tithing is not a New Testament principle will lead you to proverty.
    a. Tithing was given 430 years before the law of Moses
    b. If you tithe you will be blessed for being obedient
3. Don’t Go Beyond Your Faith – bless the Lord in increments as your faith increase because tithing and giving
must be consistent, it’s a lifestyle
4. Your Motives Must Be Right:
    a. What are you looking to get out of it?
    b. Why do you want God to bless you?
    c. What is the deep-seated purpose of wanting your finances to increase?
5. You will develop discipline and good stewardship when you acknowledge it’s His and not yours
6. Delight thyself also in the Lord
    a. If you want to enjoy your money never put it ahead of God.
    b. Money is a wonderful servant, but a poor master
PRINCIPLES OF PROSPERITY
